The Thriller dance is the most copied Halloween routine there is: a lead dancer in a red leather jacket and red trousers, a street full of zombies behind, and the same shoulder shimmies, claw hands and head snaps from 1983 that every school dance and flash mob still does today. In October 2026 a vertical clip of a lead dancer and a big zombie crowd became one of the most-used community templates on Higgsfield, where people swap themselves into the lead. This template does the same from one photo. The model gets the 10-second dance clip and your picture and redoes it shot for shot with you in front: the same blue night light, the same zombie crowd, the same steps on the same beats. You keep your own face, hair and build, and you wear the red jacket, red trousers, white socks and loafers of the lead dancer, so the result reads as the Thriller dance at first glance. You get a 10-second vertical video with the clip's original music on it, ready for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, with no watermark. It is made for Halloween posts, costume reveals and "me at the party" jokes. The example videos on this page are credited to their creators on Higgsfield; the poster image is AI-generated. ## How the recast works Most photo-to-video templates start from one picture and invent the motion. This one starts from the trend clip itself: the model gets the original video and your photo, and redoes the clip shot for shot with you in it. That is why the camera, the cuts and the timing match the trend so closely. The model's own audio tends to drift, so once the video is ready we put the clip's original sound back on; the picture is untouched. ## Why the outfit is fixed The red jacket and red trousers are what make the dance recognisable, so the template always dresses the lead dancer in them, whatever you wear in your photo. Your face, hair and build stay yours; only the clothes change. The zombies behind you are generic dancers, not real people. ## How to use it 1. Open https://soracai.com/ai-thriller-dance and upload a photo (Your photo). 2. Press Generate (250 credits, shown on the button before you run it). 3. Wait one to three minutes; the result is also saved to My Creations. 4. Download the MP4 without a watermark. Failed runs are refunded automatically. ## Examples - Example result: https://soracai.com/media/templates/ai-thriller-dance/poster.avif ## This trend on Instagram & TikTok - @gixocreativo (Higgsfield remake), Higgsfield, 2026-10-01: Zombie-dance remake. 530 views, 720 likes. Upload one clear photo of yourself and press Generate. You get a 10-second vertical video of you leading the zombie dance in the red jacket, with the music on it. ### Does the video have sound? Yes. The original 10 seconds of music from the trend clip play under the dance, lined up with the moves. ### Can I use a photo of a celebrity or a child? No. Only upload photos of yourself or adults who agreed to be in the video. Photos of children are not accepted. ### Is this affiliated with Michael Jackson or the song's rights holders? No. "Thriller" is used here only as the name of the dance trend. Soracai is not affiliated with Michael Jackson's estate, the song's rights holders or Higgsfield, and the template does not recreate any real person's likeness: the face in the video is yours. ### Is this the Higgsfield template? It is the same idea. The Thriller dance clip became a community "make your version" template on Higgsfield in October 2026, where people swap themselves into the clip. This page makes the same recast on Soracai. Soracai is not affiliated with Higgsfield; the example videos on this page are credited to their Higgsfield creators. ### How long does it take? About 10 to 15 minutes, because the model redoes the whole trend clip frame by frame. You can leave the page; the video is saved to your Creations when it is ready. ### Is it free? Video templates use paid credits. New accounts get free credits for photo templates only. The exact cost is shown on the Generate button before you confirm. ### Is there a watermark? No watermark is added to the video. ### Where is my photo stored? Uploads are stored in Firebase Storage (Google Cloud) under your account so the run can happen and the result appears in Creations. They are not public, and you can email support to request deletion. To run the effect, a copy is sent to our AI model provider (kie.ai); result files are kept for 14 days, so download what you want to keep. ## Related effects - [AI Elf Dance Video (Elf Yourself With Your Face)](https://soracai.com/ai-elf-dance): Your photo turns into a Christmas elf, green suit, pointy ears and a hat with a bell, and you do a bouncy elf dance by a lit tree with your own face: the elf yourself video, made with AI. - [C-Walk AI Dance Video](https://soracai.com/ai-c-walk): From one full-body photo, you do the C-Walk: heel-toe shuffles, V-steps and quick footwork, copied move for move from a real C-Walk clip. - [AI Smalltown Boy Trend (Run Away Turn Away)](https://soracai.com/ai-smalltown-boy-trend): Upload two photos and you and a friend take over the viral Smalltown Boy dance by the red fence: the dramatic "run away, turn away" screams into the camera, the 80s moves and the low-angle finale, on the original song. - [AI Halloween Costume Generator](https://soracai.com/ai-halloween-costume): See yourself in any Halloween costume at a party before you buy it. - [AI Werewolf Transformation](https://soracai.com/ai-werewolf-transformation): The camera circles you as your jaw stretches into a muzzle and fur covers you, until a wolf stands where you were. - [AI Dance Generator](https://soracai.com/ai-dance-generator): Upload one full-body photo and get a 6-second video of you dancing to the beat. - [BbY WOW Trend AI Generator: The Party Walk From 1 Photo](https://soracai.com/ai-bby-wow-trend): Upload one photo and you do the BbY WOW walk at a party: strolling up to the camera with a deadpan face while the lights flip from green to pink. - [Corpse Bride AI Transformation Video](https://soracai.com/ai-corpse-bride): Blue magic climbs from your shoes to your face and turns you into a pale-blue ghost bride in a torn veil, under a full moon in a misty graveyard: the Novia Cadáver Halloween transformation from one photo.
