The knight cat AI template turns your pet into the smallest, bravest knight on the internet. Upload a photo of your cat or dog and the template first paints a cinematic film still: your pet, with its own face, fur and markings, standing upright in fitted silver plate armour with a short cream cape, gripping a steel longsword twice its height on a wide, misty moor. Then the video starts. The wind howls, the cape and fur whip sideways, and your pet squints into the storm, struggling to keep the huge sword upright. The camera slowly pulls back and rises until the little knight is alone in a vast grey-green landscape, still standing. The look comes from a run of cinematic kitten-knight clips in September 2026. One storm frame collected close to a million Instagram likes, and a version captioned "Remember your gym bro." passed 3 million likes on Instagram plus millions of TikTok plays. Search interest spiked in mid-September, and the format has since spread to parent-and-child versions, which you can make with the baby knight template. The clip is 8 seconds with wind, armour clinks and slow orchestral strings, vertical and watermark-free. You don't write any prompt; the armour, cape, sword and moor are already set. ## The look Everything in the scene is chosen to feel like a big-budget fantasy film: overcast grey-green light, long wet grass, 35mm film grain, a low camera at the pet's eye level and a slow pull-back to show how small it is. There is no helmet, so your pet's face stays visible for the whole clip. ## From pet knight to parent knight The trend has already moved on to a family version: a small child in armour struggles with the sword, then a parent kneels and swaps it for a teddy bear. If you want that version, use the baby knight template, which keeps the same moor, armour and music. ## How to use it 1. Small breeds look the most like the original trend. - Run it twice. The pull-back and the light change between takes. ## Use cases - An epic post for a pet account. - A motivational edit (gym, exams, deadlines) with your pet as the hero. - A birthday clip for a friend who loves their cat. - A print or wallpaper idea, using a still from the video. ## FAQ ### How do I make the knight cat AI video? Upload a clear photo of your cat or dog and press Generate. The template dresses your pet in armour, hands it the sword and animates the stormy moor. ### Is it free? Video templates use paid credits. New accounts get free credits for photo templates only. The exact cost is shown on the Generate button before you confirm. ### Does it work with dogs? Yes. Any cat or dog photo where the face and body are visible works. ### Will it still look like my pet? The template keeps your pet's face, fur colour and markings. A clearer photo gives a closer match. ### How long is the video? 8 seconds, vertical 9:16, with wind and orchestral music. ### Is there a watermark? No watermark is added to the video. ### Where is my photo stored? Uploads are stored in Firebase Storage (Google Cloud) under your account so the run can happen and the result appears in Creations. They are not public, and you can email support to request deletion. To run the effect, a copy is sent to our AI model provider (kie.ai); result files are kept for 14 days, so download what you want to keep. ## Related effects - [Mom and Baby Knight AI Video](https://soracai.com/ai-baby-knight): A little knight struggles with a giant sword in the wind, then you kneel, take the sword and hand them a teddy bear. - [AI Clapping Cat](https://soracai.com/ai-clapping-cat): Your cat or dog sits up, grows two little human hands, grins and gives a slow, loud clap. - [Day of the Dead Pet AI](https://soracai.com/ai-day-of-the-dead-pet): Your pet runs toward you across a glowing bridge of marigold petals on its first Día de Muertos. - [AI Cat Dance](https://soracai.com/ai-cat-dance): Upload a photo of your cat and watch it stand up and dance to the beat for 6 seconds. - [Pet to Human AI](https://soracai.com/ai-pet-to-human): See your dog or cat as a person, sitting right next to the real pet. - [AI Giant Cat Ride](https://soracai.com/ai-giant-cat-ride): Unlock a horse-sized saddled cat from a city bike-share dock, climb on and ride it down the street. - [AI Puppy Generator](https://soracai.com/ai-puppy-generator): Your selfie becomes a cozy photo of you buried in three fluffy Pomeranian puppies. - [AI Lion Friend Video](https://soracai.com/ai-lion-friend): At night by your car, a big lion walks out of the dark and greets you like an old friend.
