The Jean Phil dance template turns you into the meme. Your face stays, but everything else changes: a thick glossy blond bob with a blunt fringe, a waxed handlebar moustache, a brown-grey houndstooth jacket with a striped purple tie, baggy grey trousers and loafers. You stand in a dark back alley under an orange wall lamp, and with a completely straight face you dance: loose bounces on the beat, a head roll looking up at the sky, both arms thrown wide with finger-gun hand signs, a quick torso twist that snaps back to the camera, and a hand-on-hip finish with a tap to the temple and a nod. Jean Phil blew up in late September 2026 as a green-screen meme of a deadpan dancer in exactly this look, and within days people were putting themselves, their friends and their pets in his place with CapCut templates. The humour is the total seriousness of the face against the loose, groovy moves. Here it is one tap. An image model restyles you into the character, then a video model performs the 10-second routine with a bouncy rap beat. The moustache is part of the meme, so it is added for everyone. A run takes about three minutes, with no watermark. You can swap the audio for the trending sound in your editor. Examples use AI-generated fictional people. ## The routine, second by second 0 to 2 seconds: knees bend and you bounce loosely in place, looking left and right. 2 to 4: lean back and roll your head in a circle toward the sky, rocking foot to foot. 4 to 6: both arms out to the sides with finger guns, flicked twice on the beat. 6 to 8: a fast half-turn of the shoulders that snaps straight back to face the camera, feet planted. 8 to 10: hand on hip, head bobbing, then a tap to the temple and a nod. The camera is fixed and full-body, and you stay on the same spot the whole time, which is how the original meme is framed. ## Sound and the look The video comes with a generated bouncy rap beat. The meme is usually posted with one specific trending track, so if you want the exact joke, mute the generated audio and add the trending sound in your editor; the beats are spaced to fit a typical hip-hop tempo. The look is the same for everyone: blond bob, moustache and houndstooth suit. That includes the moustache on any face, because that is what makes the character recognisable. ## How to use it 1. Open https://soracai.com/ai-jean-phil-dance and upload a photo. 2. Press Generate (350 credits). 3. Download the MP4. ## Tips - A clear, front-facing face photo works best; the hair, moustache and outfit are all added. - Keep a straight face in the original photo if you can; the deadpan look is the joke. - The routine runs 10 seconds in fixed beats, so trim the start to line up with your sound's hook. - Swap in the trending audio in TikTok or CapCut for the full meme effect. - If a hand sign looks wrong, run it again; each take is slightly different. ## Use cases - Joining the Jean Phil meme without filming or green screen. - Group-chat jokes with friends who agreed to be the dancer. - Reaction-style posts: a serious photo, then the dance. ## FAQ ### How do I do the Jean Phil dance trend?
