The AI ghost photoshoot recreates the sheet-ghost Halloween photos that come back every October. You upload a full-body photo and the template covers you head to knees in a plain white bedsheet with two small eye holes, adds round black sunglasses over the holes, and leaves your own jeans and shoes from the photo showing underneath. You pose on a park path covered in orange autumn leaves in golden-hour light, with a soft 90s film look. Add a second photo of a friend or your dog or cat, and they stand beside you under their own smaller sheet with their own sunglasses. The ghost photoshoot started as a DIY trend: friends draped old sheets over themselves, put on sunglasses and took aesthetic autumn photos. #GhostPhotoshoot has passed 500 million views, and in 2026 the best-friends and dog versions are leading again. The charm is the contrast between a silly costume and a carefully styled, moody photo. With this template you skip the sheet, the photographer and the right park. It runs on Nano Banana 2, takes about 20 to 40 seconds and returns a 4:5 photo without a watermark. Because you are under a sheet, the shoes and jeans are what make it yours, so a full-body photo matters most. ## What makes it look right The trend has a clear recipe: a plain white sheet (no printed faces), round black sunglasses over the eye holes, real clothes visible below, orange leaves, low golden sun and a slightly faded film look. The template writes all of that in, so the result reads as the trend at first glance. The setting changes a little between runs, from a leafy path to a park bench area. ## Adding a friend or a pet The second photo is optional. A friend gets their own full-size sheet; a dog or cat gets a smaller one with tiny sunglasses. Only add someone who agreed to it. ## How to use it 1. Open https://soracai.com/ai-ghost-photoshoot and upload the photos (Your photo, Friend or pet (optional)). 2. Press Generate (10 credits, shown on the button before you run it). 3. Wait about 15 seconds; the result is also saved to My Creations. 4. Download the image without a watermark. Failed runs are refunded automatically. ## Examples - Example result: https://soracai.com/media/templates/ai-ghost-photoshoot/poster.avif ## This trend on Instagram & TikTok - @unicouniuni (Trend video), TikTok, 2026-10-01: A cat in a sheet ghost. 1,819,683 views, 470,859 likes. Upload a full-body photo and press Generate. Add a second photo if you want a friend or your pet in the shot too. ### Is it free? New accounts get free credits for photo templates, so you can try it at no cost. More runs use credits from a pack or plan, and the cost is shown before you generate. ### Can I do the ghost photoshoot with my dog? Yes. Upload your dog's photo as the second image and it gets its own little sheet and sunglasses. ### Why does my face not show? That is the trend: you are fully under the sheet. Your shoes and jeans from the photo are what make it yours. ### Can I change the setting? The autumn park setting is part of the look. Each run varies the path, light and pose a little. ### Is there a watermark? No. Images download without a watermark. ### Where is my photo stored? Uploads are stored in Firebase Storage (Google Cloud) under your account so the run can happen and the result appears in Creations. They are not public, and you can email support to request deletion. To run the effect, a copy is sent to our AI model provider (kie.ai); result files are kept for 14 days, so download what you want to keep. ## Related effects - [AI Halloween Costume Generator](https://soracai.com/ai-halloween-costume): See yourself in any Halloween costume at a party before you buy it. - [Halloween AI Photo](https://soracai.com/ai-halloween-photo): Turn a selfie into a moonlit witch portrait with a jack-o'-lantern, floating candles and a black cat. - [AI Pumpkin Head Photo](https://soracai.com/ai-pumpkin-head): You, a real carved pumpkin over your head, sipping iced coffee through the jack-o'-lantern mouth. - [AI Ghostface Trend](https://soracai.com/ai-ghostface): Your selfie on pink satin sheets with a 90s phone, and a masked figure watching from the doorway. - [AI 90s Halloween Photo](https://soracai.com/ai-90s-halloween-watcher): A late-90s bedroom snapshot of you on the phone, with a faceless hooded figure watching from the doorway. - [AI Polaroid Generator](https://soracai.com/ai-polaroid-generator): Upload two photos and get an instant-film Polaroid of you both hugging, flash, grain and white frame included. - [Day of the Dead Pet AI](https://soracai.com/ai-day-of-the-dead-pet): Your pet runs toward you across a glowing bridge of marigold petals on its first Día de Muertos. - [AI Couple Photo](https://soracai.com/ai-couple-photo): A candid beach-boardwalk photoshoot of the two of you, made from one photo of each person.
