## What is the First Time in a Fancy Cafe AI: Sit on the Table Like It's a Stool?

"POV: your first time in a fancy cafe" is the clip everyone is remaking at the start of November 2026. In a minimalist concrete cafe, someone sits on top of a tiny round steel table like it is a stool and sips their coffee, until a second person walks in, sits on the bench and puts their cup on the table. The first one looks over, gets it, and quietly climbs down. Upload one photo and this template puts you on the table; add a friend's photo and they play the one who shows you how it is done.

The skit took off on 1 November 2026. Reposts credit the idea to the creator Kevin Winnik, and the same fixed shot with new faces spread within hours: one version passed 6.7 million views and 875,000 likes in a day, another reached 2.1 million, and a third 1.2 million on 2 November, all captioned "Who can relate?". The same day CapCut template accounts and tutorials started showing how to put your own face in the cafe.

The template runs in two steps: an image model places you (and your friend, or a stylish stranger) in the concrete cafe, then a video model plays the 8-second skit with cafe sounds and a laid-back original groove. The trend videos on this page are credited to their creators; the poster image is AI-generated.

## What happens in the video

0-2.5 s: you sit perched on the small steel table, sipping your coffee. 2.5-4.5 s: someone walks in, sits on the bench and puts their cup on the table. 4.5-6 s: you look at their cup, then at the table under you. 6-8 s: you climb down, sit the right way and try to look casual.

## Why is the fancy cafe clip funny?

Minimalist cafes often use tiny round steel tables on low posts next to a concrete bench, and they really do look like stools. The clip plays the moment you realise, in front of a stranger who sat down correctly, that you have been sitting on the table. Nobody says a word, which is why it works in every language.

## Which photos to use

One adult per photo, head to toe if you can, face clear and toward the camera, no sunglasses. Any background works: the cafe comes from the template. Use your own photo and one of a friend who said yes, never a celebrity or a stranger.

## Tips

- Use a head-to-toe photo: the joke is your whole body perched on the tiny table.
- A neutral, slightly dressed-up outfit sells it: you look like you belong there, until you don't.
- Add a friend's photo for the couple or bestie version; leave it empty and a stranger walks in.
- Caption it "POV: your first time in a fancy cafe" or "Who can relate?".
- Add the trending sound in TikTok when you post; the clip comes with an original groove.

## Use cases

- Your own version of the fancy cafe POV without filming in a cafe.
- A couple or bestie version where your partner is the one who knows how to sit.
- A relatable reply video for a cafe, interior design or coffee account.

## FAQ

### Is this affiliated with TikTok, CapCut or the original creator?

No. Soracai is not affiliated with TikTok, CapCut, Kevin Winnik or any creator shown on this page. "First time in a fancy cafe" is the name of the trend, used because that is what people search for.

### Is there a watermark?

No watermark is added to the video.

### Where is my photo stored?

Uploads are stored in Firebase Storage (Google Cloud) under your account so the run can happen and the result appears in Creations. They are not public, and you can email support to request deletion. To run the effect, a copy is sent to our AI model provider (kie.ai); result files are kept for 14 days, so download what you want to keep.
